Version: 6.1.23~dfsg-2
Severity: wishlist
Dear Maintainer,
When subscribing to a mailing list using wwsympa, the subscriber
receives an email From: <sympa@$robot> with Return-Path:
<sympa-request@$robot> with instructions how to finalize the
subscription. The From and Return-Path fields are currently hardcoded.
sympa-request@$robot aliases to postmaster as per [0]. Hence for each
invalid address submitted to the HTML form, postmaster receives a
non-delivery notice. I see little reason to set the Return-Path to
<sympa-request@$robot>; it would be great if one could choose their own
Return-Path address in the template file, for instance. Unfortunately
setting it to a noreply address in the template file ‘sendpasswd.tt2’
doesn't work at the moment.
Cheers,

Guilhem.
