[Pkg-sympa-devel] Bug#857057: sympa links to a to recent jquery.js package, that break the drop down menu's.

Version: 6.2.16~dfsg-2

The is sympa package links to a to recent jquery.js package (version 3.1.1, libjs-jquery 3.1.1-2 ). In stead of version v1.11.1 that is available in the sources tar ball.

The symptom I get is the following.
When I click, Login -> EMAIL ADDRESS the drop down menu disappears, the effect is that I'm not able to log in reset the password or any other option that needs to be selected via the drop down menu.
In the Firefox web developer tool  I see, the following errors [1].

When I replace 
/var/lib/sympa/static_content/external/jquery.js with the tarball version sympa-6.2.16/www/external/jquery.js this issue is resolved.

That means to resolve this issue the jquery.js included in the sympa-6.2.16.tar.gz [2] should be used or sympa 6.2.16 needs to be patched.
