Bug#369846: synfigstudio 0.61.05-2 doesn't show correct / change colors

When adding an object to a canvas it doesn't show the correct colors, just violet/purple sometimes red. When I'm trying to change them in the color dialog it doesn't change as well.

All my other applications (e.g. OO, kde, firefox) show correct colors.

I'm using Kanotix with kernel 2.6.14-kanotix-9 libc6 2.3.6-7 and downloaded the following packages from the debian site
