incorrect rendering in 0.61.05-5 and -6

I was correct, rebuilt with gcc-4.0 (with and without -ffast-math) and
rendering is fine. 

I'm thinking file another RC bug and in -7 use g++-4.0, but do not close
the RC bug until we can actually use g++ 4.1 (or 4.2 or whatever the
default compiler is).
