Most of the time, if not always, the gamma settings get messed up after restarting synfigstudio. Following any of the tutorials on the project's wiki (http://wiki.synfig.com/) triggers the issue here. Just do some simple drawing, close the application, start it over and the colors will be messed up.

The setting can be found under entry pref.gamma in the .synfig/settings file. For instance, now it reads:
pref.gamma=1.000000 -1.841371 0.000000 0.000000

But I haven't modified those values from the preferences dialog. I haven't even opened in the last session.

My workaround is to remove that line from the configuration file between restarts, but it gets frustrating soon enough. Especially when the application keeps crashing :)
