See /etc/init.d/mountoverflow.  There are two ways to avoid it.  One
is to make sure at least 1 MiB of free space is available on /tmp/.
The other si to disable it using for example

  echo MINTMPKB=0 >> /etc/default/mountoverflow

Then the overflow file system will FUCK OFF!!!  :) Or at least it will
not be mounted any more.
