    bootclean.sh only returns errors for unexpected failure
    
    Expected failures are a lack of binaries on /usr (since we
    try to run once before /usr is potentially available), and
    the filesystem having been already cleaned.  We also don't
    return failure if cleaning /lib/init/rw fails, since this is
    expected to fail given that this directory no longer exists;
    we clean to remove any cruft left behind after it was removed
    by badly-behaved packages.
