Yes it is. We can put ready made files into 
	texlive/trunk/addons-per-bin/$package.root/usr/share/....
(binary files uuencoded with extension .uu) and the will automatically
installed into the respective hierachy.

And, AFAIR, for doc files the symlinks are created *AFTER* this is done
(see addons-per-source/all.create-doc-links).

So, if you find some file, best would be to create the docs and put them
into the trees .... (and tell me), or send me a list of your findings.
