Hmmm, here is the failure, it cannot find stmary10.mf. I have

$ kpsewhich stmary10.mf
/usr/share/texmf-texlive/fonts/source/public/stmaryrd/stmary10.mf
$ dlocate /usr/share/texmf-texlive/fonts/source/public/stmaryrd/stmary10.mf
texlive-math-extra: /usr/share/texmf-texlive/fonts/source/public/stmaryrd/stmary10.mf


So do you have texlive-math-extra installed?
