Really in the last days? If yes, than I cannot have done anything.

Very strange, and I cannot reporduce it here.

Does it happen only wiht pk fonts, or only with type1 fonts, or with all
fonts? Some text seems to be displayed right, what tesxt is not
displayed correctly?

Maybe the XDvi is not found anymore?

Did you upgrade to xorg7 recently?
