I have changed the SCM system used by the pkg-torrus project from svn
to git. If I understand the docs correctly, this

   (a) changes the links visible on the project page to git
   (b) causes a cron job to create the repository in a few hours of time
(in the mean time, the links on the project page are pointing
       into the void)
   (c) does _not_ delete the old repository but keeps it available
       under the already known URIs

If you have full history in your repository, and have imported with a
meaningful authors file, I don't have any objections against you
pushing your repository.

I would like to build the packages on my system and have them a go on
a test machine first, if that's ok. This would be a new install for
starters.

Greetings
Marc
