I've upgraded to that version on the system where I did formerly debug these
issues and had my locally applied patches active. Apparently that worked
without issues:

* SNMPv1 devices still have an "Interfaces" tree after rediscover;
* The cbQoS values are still nicely updating;
* I don't see anything else that went wrong and
* SNMP.pm and DevDiscover.pm from the deb7u0 diff identical (or with just
  whitespace change, respectively) against the versions I was running
  here for the last weeks ;)

That sounds great. I would like to leave it running for another day or so
just in order to be completely sure, but that's mostly paranoia. It does
fix the issues in question for sure.

BTW, just in case somebody with the same issues ends up on this BTS thread
and still has problems with SNMPv1, I've also had to add

     <param name="snmp-oids-per-pdu" value="4"/>

to prevent Torrus from generating (or triggering the agent to create)
oversized SNMP packets which never make it forth or back, leading to
much the same symptoms (specifically regarding cbQoS breakage).

Thanks a lot,
