first of all: Andreas started to work on uml and we all can join the
strenght to reach for the same target: UML on Etch.

2.6.12-1um started this process: please have a look at the
user-mode-linux-1um to understand that in the debian/rules:
- ask to compile (with ARCH=um) option the u-m-l kernel;
- in debian/control you can manage the dependency and the conflicts;

what do you mean?

yes, I have already found this realease of rootstrap is unusable!

it may be that the tools are good enough.
I am going to see if there is the real need to `dch -i`-ing just to fix
bugs or to add also am enhancement.

At the moment I am blind about `umlrun`, I have never tried it out.
So what the pkgs to take care for debian are:

- user-mode-linux;
- user-mode-linux-doc;
- uml-utilities;
- umlrun;
- rootstrap.

Let's start to work.
