one of the submitters says it doesn't happen with 2.6.9 and
we dropped the 2.4 series.

Definitely fixed with the recent upload? (I guess so)

arch/um/os-Linux/process.c:96: `__NR_tkill" undeclared (first use in this function)
the broken function now contains just
	kill(pid, SIGUSR1);

will kernel-patch-uml disappear together with this bug?

patch forwarded upstream and not yet applied.

2.6 is just there (and we dropped 2.4). This should be closed already.

fixed upstream (03/21/06), will go in 2.6.17 (seemingly), will tag
appropriately. See

This
> * #220681: user-mode-linux: serial port hangs/unimplemented ioctl

is probably related to:

Upstream says it will probably not implement those ioctls in a short
timeframe (2 years ago...).

trying to build with CONFIG_HIGHMEM=y, let's see.

hmmm... it will be fixed once UML will be a subarch of the debian
kernels.

don't know... I'll investigate on the status of SMP support. Stefano, do
you have any further insight on that?

ufff.. I'm pretty tired now will followup to this mail tomorrow while
trying to reproduce some bugs.
