Hello,
I've been able to reproduce this bug but this time the UML kernel tells
what's wrong:
# HOME="" linux ubd0=~/vm/uml/rootfs_debian-sid eth0=tuntap,,,172.20.0.3 umid=debian mem=128M
Checking that ptrace can change system call numbers...OK
Checking syscall emulation patch for ptrace...OK
Checking advanced syscall emulation patch for ptrace...OK
Checking PROT_EXEC mmap in /tmp...OK
Checking for the skas3 patch in the host:
- /proc/mm...not found
- PTRACE_FAULTINFO...not found
- PTRACE_LDT...not found
UML running in SKAS0 mode
Failed to mkdir '/.uml/': Permission denied
[1] 24455 segmentation fault HOME="" linux ubd0=rootfs_debian-sid umid=debian
I consider this bug fixed, fell free to reopen it if you don't agree.
Thanks
