Oups. I forgot to stag the change with "git add".

You don't need to do that. Upstream source is in the repository.
Upstream branch is currently upstream-unstable (I guess this
"unstable" is meaningful for debian, not for upstream). Each upstream
is tagged with the same version number. Here 0.1.4.

I did the git-import-orig with some appropriate options to import the
new upstream tarball with the same tag and branch scheme that lool
uses.

Fortunately, I just noticed that the .in were discarded by my global
.gitignore.

I don't think you were wrong :)

I have updated my local git branches, I reworked my patches..
Unfortunately, I cannot push my changes since git refuses non-linear
push (or push -f).

What would be the right way to add the missing .in ?

I still don't know what to do with .stamps.
