Hello William,

Getting 3.0 into backports is a good idea.

Did you have to make any changes to the stock packaging, or did it
backport cleanly? It may be easier to ask the backports people to take
the current version from "testing", and place it into backports.

If you had to make any changes, It would be great to include them in the
current packaging repository, and get that into backports as soon as,
well, something very fast indeed. :)
