If I understood correctly this is not a bug, or at least not a bug of
the current vim version in debian: the digraph for the euro symbol
should be defined in unicode. If you define it using the unicode code
(8364) then all is fine, _except_ that it wont work with older version
of vim.

Still, this is not an issue with the current version of vim in debian.

If you don't I will close the bug in a few days.
