This was a problem with the way vim was using alternatives in previous
versions of the package.  Alternatives were being unregistered in the
wrong order, so it would cause the alternative to go into 'manual'
mode.If you purge vim-gtk and remove the alternatives manually, they
should be handled properly from here on out.
