Package: eterm
Version: 0.9.1-0pre2001051101
Severity: normal

[Sorry if this is a vim bug; I assume it's a problem with terminfo. Please
reassign to vim-gtk or vim if it's a vim problem.]

When using vim in an Eterm, the editor moves the cursor on mouse clicks only
if TERM=xterm. When TERM=Eterm, vim still updates the terminal title bar, and
responds to resize events, but the mouse doesn't do anything.

you need a vim that has X features activated.

Sorry for the *LOOOONG* delay for this answer. the behaviour you meet
is fully documented into :he 'ttymouse' saying that vim only recognize
xterm mouse, and that you have to put :

set ttymouse=3Dxterm

in your .vimrc to make it work in terminals that don't announce
themselves as xterm. As this is documented, I close the bug.
