Bug#442184: vim-gtk: digraph wrapping at end of line causes misdrawn following line

Package: vim-gtk
Version: 1:7.1-056+2
Severity: minor
Open Vim, either at console or the GUI. Type a screen width of text,
followed by a newline, then some more text on the next line. Go to the
end of the first line of text and do a for append. The cursor shows at
the start of the next line, in front of (or on the first character of,
in console mode) the first character of the next line, to indicate that
your line is about to wrap. Rather than typing a character, hit ^k to
enter a digraph. After entering the first character of the digraph, it
shows up over the first character of the following line, after the
cursor in the usual way. But when you finish the digraph, the line
wraps, and the hint of the first character is not erased until something
else causes the line to be redrawn.
The same effect happens when entering a character with ^v, and it
happens regardless of the setting of 'lbr'. As per instructions, I tried
with -u NONE -U NONE and the result is the same. The effect is also the
same on my other box, another amd64 but only uniprocessor.
