RedHat distributes a patched version of Vim that uses libhunspell. When
I found out about that, I spent a little time looking at patching Vim to
use enchant. At the time, I decided to leave things as is because it
seemed that Vim's spellchecking was much more accurate than aspell,
ispell, etc. on their own and I didn't have enough time to really dig in
and come up with a proper patch.

If/when I do revisit the issue, I think it'd be best to do some
comparative testing to see how RH's patched version performs relative to
Vim's native spellchecking. If they're equitable, then move forward and
try to implement a proper patch (not using hard-coded paths, as RH does)
using one of the spell libraries (likely enchant).
