Bug#525422: vim: netrw using elinks/links does not really do what it should

Package: vim
Version: 2:7.2.148-2
Severity: important

Since I upgraded to vim 7.2, netrw stopped working. That means, whenever i
load a http:// url in vim, I get the file completely reformatted. I don't
understand what's the point in using elinks to download stuff instead of
curl/wget, which used to be used before. Or, at least, change this:
let g:netrw_http_xcmd= "-dump >"   ==>   "-source >"
