Package: vim-scripts
Version: 20121007
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

I don't know if this wishlist bug is best filed against vim-scripts,
vim-puppet, wnpp, or somewhere else. Please forward/clone as you see fit...

I was reading about and playing with some nice vim scripts to make editing
puppet files easier.

  http://jedi.be/blog/2011/12/05/puppet-editing-like-a-pro/

In addition to vim-puppet (which is already packaged) these would be nice
to have in debian:

tabular - text aligning
http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=3464

syntastic - use external syntax checkers
http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=2736

snipmate - insert code snippets with a keyword
http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=2540

pathogen - manage vim plugins
http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=2332

(there are also a couple ruby things (specky, vim-ruby) mentioned on that
page that I personally don't need, but maybe are interesting to others)

Thanks,
