Bug#768256: GNOME's "open with" menu displays a huge vim icon rendering the menu unusable / nautilus: Displays svg pixmaps as giant icons

hello Developers,

this seems to be a general (GTK?) issue, I get a similar result when
running pavucontrol: pavucontrol controls the volume of running
(pulseaudio) applications, and "scummvm" which is running has an SVG
icon [1] - the green 'S' - that is huge like in the nautilus case
(768256, 765069, probably more).
--> screenshot is attached [2]
(widelands, for example, produces a very small icon in pavucontrol)

I am using two-weeks old jessie, and will update this weekend.

Shall I report this against GTK (after having updated of course)?

[1] /usr/share/icons/scummvm.svg (scummvm-data)
