Bug#769575: vim-common: vim.desktop sets name to GVim instead of Vim

Package: vim-common
Version: 2:7.4.488-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

The /usr/share/applications/vim.desktop installed by vim-common sets the "Name"
field to "GVim" even though the desktop entry opens vim in a terminal. It also
makes file managers' "open with" handlers difficult to use if vim-gui-common is
installed, since that installs gvim.desktop with the same value for the "Name"
field and identical values for the "Icon" fields.

Please consider changing the "Name" field to "Vim".

Cheers,
Ian Abbott
