Hello, I am glad to see that upstream updated the permission notice in
xxd.c, thanks for asking Bram to do so!

However, the licensing status of xxd has to be documented in the
debian/copyright file of the Debian package: this was the main point of
my bug report. I see no traces of xxd licensing status documented in
the current debian/copyright file [1].

I am therefore reopening the bug report.

Please document the licensing status of xxd in the debian/copyright
file! Thanks for your time and dedication.
