Sorry, but this is not really an explanation for me. I'd like to see a
build log or something like this to be able to at least try to fix it.

I looked for your -4 version that had virtualbox-ose enabled but wasn't
able to find this package anywhere. So it's difficult to have try
myself unless I start hacking linux-modules-extra.
