Hi,

Sorry for the late reply, I hadn't noticed your reply.

As a guest I have tried Windows 2000 SP4 and a Debian kde4 live cd. The
problem occurs always at the very early stage of boot while the guest kernel
is loading or even earlier (sometimes even before the bios screen appears).

I tested it again today with virtualbox-ose-1.5.2-dfsg2-4 and later with
virtualbox-ose-1.5.4-dfsg-1 and with both the same self-compiled linux 2.6.23
that I had tried the last time and debian's linux-image-2.6.23-1-686 version
2.6.23-2 from unstable.

I am attaching my VBox.log file of each guest after the boot failure.

Regards,
George
