Package: virtualbox-ose
Version: 1.5.6-dfsg-6
Severity: normal

When selecting "Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop (82540EM)" as network card
inside the configuration menu it sometimes results in:

,---- [ error message of virtualbox ]
| Invalid network adapter type '3'.
|
| Result Code:
| 0x80004005
| Component:
| NetworkAdapter
| Interface:
| INetworkAdapter {78dfc978-ecb0-44ee-8b20-54549dd4539e}
| Callee:

`----

I'm aware of the fact that the Intel e1000 network device is *not*
shipped with virtualbox-ose. It would be great if the corresponding
option inside the menu could be disabled or if that's not possible
please consider tagging this bugreport as "won't fix" so other users
don't stumble upon this issue (because *sometimes* you don't even
get the error message at all and the network device just falls back
to AMD PCnet).

regards,
-mika-
