Doing this worked for me, but I see 2 issues:

1) I already had virtualbox-ose-modules-2.6.26-1-amd64 (the correct one
for my kernel) installed from the repository. Shouldn't that have worked?

2) After installing the package built by the m-a command, apt-get
upgrade tries to upgrade me to the package I mentioned in 1). That
package does not work.

So it seems that something's not right here still.
