No this should/will be changed. It just was a problem for that upload. I fully
expect the next upload to include virtualbox-ose again.

All -source packages are there for the user to build the module package if the
provided one (if there is one) does not really help. I don't see a reason for a
note there. Besides this is definitely not something debconf should be used
for.
