I noticed this after building the 1.6.6 from the r340 revision from alioth,
but I didn't think to mention it earlier.

I also just tried to run the ubuntu-8.04.1-desktop-i386.iso as a live desktop,
and got excessive syslogging. Here's a snippet.

----------------------
Sep 5 11:11:45 bard kernel: [36691.024176]
Sep 5 11:11:45 bard kernel: [36691.024177] !!R0-Assertion Failed!!
Sep 5 11:11:45 bard kernel: [36691.024178] Expression: <NULL>
Sep 5 11:11:45 bard kernel: [36691.024179]
Location : /freespace/home/umeboshi/workspace/debian/virtualbox-ose-1.6.6/src/VBox/VMM/VMMAll/PGMAllPool.cpp(2738)
void pgmPoolTracDerefGCPhys(PGMPOOL*, PGMPOOLPAGE*, RTHCPHYS, RTGCPHYS)
----------------------
I get these entries at a rate of 2000-2700 per second!!
The ubuntu cd seems to hang at this point on the VM.
