I take it you are talking about the VBox suspend function, right? This does
nothing but storing the current state of the whole system so it can be
restarted immediately. The virtual system is not suspended or rebooted.
Detaching an ISO is the same as ejecting a physical CD, right, but you need the
virtual system to handle this event. This system is deactivated at that point
in time.
