[Pkg-virtualbox-devel] Bug#563246: virtualbox-ose: Virtual Machines no longer start after apt-get upgrade

After the latest update, when I start a Virtual Machine I get the 
following error in a popup:

"Failed to open a session for the virtual machine
Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)"

followed by another popup that says:

"RTR3Init failed with rc=-1912 (rc=-1912)
Please install the virtualbox-ose-dkms package and execute 'modprobe 
vboxdrv' as root."

If I follow this advice, it does not fix the problem, I just get the 
same errors again. I also tried to create my own vboxdrv using

"m-a a-i virtualbox-ose"

and that failed with build errors.
I am dead in the water.
