Hey,

as figured out the problem here is if a group called "vboxusers" exists as 
non-system group. Then the following command will fail with the following 
error msg (removed the --quiet):

addgroup: The group `vboxusers' already exists and is not a system group. 
Exiting.

With the current situation virtualbox-ose is completly broken in such a 
case. I would suggest to first check for this group using getent. If it is 
available don't do anything, if not create it.
