[Pkg-virtualbox-devel] Bug#685846: virtualbox: Hangs when running either the VirtualBox command or launching the GUI manager

Dear Maintainer,
Since a recent upgrade, VirtualBox no longer starts at all for me. Running the virtualbox binary outputs nothing on the terminal, and nothing happens: the program seemingly freezes, but responds to Ctrl-C, yet nothing visible happens. The same happens when I run VirtualBox --startvm, or indeed just VirtualBox. VirtualBox --help works fine, though.

The only clue in dmesg is this:

Of course, I have successfully loaded the vboxdrv module:
