Package: virtualbox
Version: 4.1.14-dfsg-1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
A few times now I've had guest crashes (Squeeze and Wheezy) which have sometimes caused host filesystem corruption (ext4, Wheezy host - lxde, but otherwise standard). From syslog :
May 30 23:46:28 desktop kernel: [96795.092202] vboxnetflt: dropped 48 out of 309
336 packets
May 30 23:46:40 desktop kernel: [96807.117199] VBoxSVC[9217]: segfault at 0 ip 0
000000000518faa sp 00007fb58803cbf0 error 4 in VBoxSVC[400000+258000]
VBox manager sometimes "loses" the guest, and once I've had corruption bad enough that I've reinstalled the host desktop. If there's any more info you need please ask.
I guess I'll try the new SID packages in the meantime.
