For what it's worth, the dkms modules build just fine on my 3.6 kernel.

3.6-trunk-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.6.9-1~experimental.1 x86_64

virtualbox      4.1.18-dfsg- amd64

With 3.7 they do not build. :-(
