I realise now that this is not a legitimate bug, and would like to
withdraw it. I apologise for the confusion.

I honestly thought I had restarted after upgrading to 4.2.10-dfsg-1.
However I had not, and it appears that vboxguest module is not reloaded
during the upgrade.

A restart shows that vboxsf is able to resolve the symbols from
vboxguest.
