When I boot using linux-image-3.11-1-amd64, running 'ls' on a mounted
shared folder never returns.

All is fine with 3.10-3-amd64.

Not sure how to debug this further, there is nothing useful in the
virtual machine log.

I'm running virtualbox inside a Windows 7 x64 host.
