[Pkg-virtualbox-devel] [Question] bios boot splash corrupt?

Hi!

I went from the "official" Oracle .deb packages to the Debian ones.
I use the backport version of 4.3(.14) on my Debian stable machine and
the testing version of 4.3(.14) on my Debian testing machine.

When booting my virtual machines, instead of the "expected" BIOS boot
splash image

(or similar if that one is Copyright Oracle) there is a small square
hardly visible with square dark gray pixel noise (that looks like a
corrupt image trying to show) instead.

Is this a known bug/feature?

Explicitly setting a custom image shows the custom image properly,
though, but the default if none is set is the above.

BR,

/Joakim
