[Pkg-virtualbox-devel] Bug#762282: virtualbox-dkms: modules fail to build with 3.17-rc5

Hello Gregor and VirtualBox Maintainers,

I just ran across this issue as well.  It appears that this was fixed
upstream in https://www.virtualbox.org/changeset/52420 which, judging
by the dates, should be included in VirtualBox 4.3.16 and later.

I noticed that you have tags for 4.3.16 and 4.3.18 in the package git
repository at
https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-virtualbox/virtualbox.git
Is there any chance either of these will be uploaded to experimental
or unstable in the near future?  If not, including the patch from
r52420 in the current 4.3.14 packages should be trivial.

A note of warning:  It appears that the patch in Gregor's email will
break Linux versions before 3.17 since it unconditionally passes a
'struct page **' to map_vm_area while pre-3.17 versions required
'struct page ***'.
