installing the virtualbox-dkms automagically does that.

are you sure you are running the 4.2.1 kernel=

you don't need any virtualbox-ose, and I'm not even sure why the package is there.
also the virtualbox-guest* packages, they are needed for the guest for the host.

btw can you please try a apt-get remove --purge virtualbox-dkms and apt-get install virtualbox-dkms and post the log here?
