Dear Maintainer,

after recent virtualbox/qt5 updates, the guest system display doesn't
fit the window created by the (host) window manager, instead it
creates a small subwindow with scrollbars and the VM is rendered in
there. The rest of the window is filled with parts of video output
coming from other workspaces or windows.
It is exactly the same behaviour as this one [0] already reported
upstream. I'm using i3 [1] window manager, too.

I wouldn't say the autoresize feature of guest additions is not
working though, since resizing the virtual machine window is
reflected into 'xrandr' output in the guest. The window would autofit,
because resolution is set correctly, it's just like the virtual
machine is forced inside that subwindow.

In the attached screenshot you can see the virtual system rendered in
the left part of the window... the right part is actually the main
virtualbox window which is behind it, but it could be the rightmost
part of a different window or workspace as well, it just depends on
what is focused before switching to the virtual machine window.
