OK, now that Wine 1.0 has been released and Wine has actually gotten a
"stable" development branch, it's soon time to decide on how to deal
with two separate lines of development. There are several approaches...
1) only package stable releases, only 1.0.* until 1.1 is declared stable
2) only package unstable releases
3) rename the 1.0 packages to wine-stable, libwine-stable, etc, and let
the current names refer to unstable releases
4) rename the 1.0 packages to wine1.0, libwine1.0, etc, and let the
current names refer to unstable
5) let the current names refer to 1.0, and create wine1.1-bin packages
6) let the current names refer to stable, and create wine-unstable packages
7) rename the 1.0 packages to wine1.0, and create wine1.1 etc, and let
the current names become transition packages to one of these
or whatever else. Hard to choose.
Suggestions?
