Package: wine-unstable
Version: 1.1.28-1
Severity: normal
As part of the test suite for some software I am developing, I run an
executable via Wine. The test fails however, claiming that the output
from the executable is garbage. When I did some debugging, I saw that
the output was a little strange...
>>> print [line.split () for line in p.stdout]
[['It', 'appears', 'that', 'libnss-mdns', 'is', 'installed', 'on', 'your', 'system,'], ['but', 'lib32nss-mdns', 'is', 'not.', 'Please', 'note', 'that', 'Wine', 'will', 'not', 'be'], ['able', 'to', 'access', 'the', 'Internet', 'unless', 'you', 'either', 'install'], ['lib32nss-mdns', '(or', 'ia32-libnss-mdns),', 'or', 'uninstall', 'libnss-mdns.'], ['(okay)', '280', '0', '0', '0'], ['280', '0', '0', '0'], ['280', '0', '0', '0'], ['280', '0', '0', '0'], ['280', '0', '0', '0'], ['280', '0', '0', '0'], ['280', '0', '0', '0'], ['280', '0', '0', '0'], ...
I think the warning should be displayed to stderr rather than stdout. :)
