[pkg-wine-party] Helping get more recent wine versions into Debian

Hi all,

Wine has been lagging a fair bit for a while now, and I'm interested
in getting some progress happening. Is there anything that can be
done?

I saw some updates pushed to NEW recently, however they haven't come
through yet. Are there blockages on those?

Is there anything in particular that is stopping us from getting a
recent version (say 1.7.x) into testing?
