I'm working on this, but likewise would welcome some help if anyone
else is interested. The first version we need is wine-mono 0.0.8, for
wine 1.6; this builds fine in stable, but not in unstable, using the
existing mingw-w64 packages on i386 (not yet on amd64 for some
reason). To get it working in unstable and uploaded, the package needs
to build mono (gmcs at least) for the build architecture first, then
build wine-mono using the newly-built mono, ideally on any arch.

Regards,

Stephen
