Hi Stephen,
finally a new upload for backports, I hope you find time for it. Please
build from above commit with "-v1.8-2" and upload to jessie-backports.
Long version:
wine 1.8.2-1 is in testing, no blocking bugs have been reported since. I
built, installed and quickly tested it successfully in a Jessie VM.
Lintian told me about lots of unneeded comment sections:
I: libwine-dev: static-library-has-unneeded-section * .comment
Debhelper removes them automatically since 9.20150811, so it's a
backports only issue. We could add "dh_strip --remove-section=.comment",
but I slightly prefer to keep the packaging diff minimal, at the expense
of minor differences in the results.
There's another new lintian warning:
W: libwine: maintscript-calls-ldconfig *
This is caused by debhelper (before 9.20151004), see also the previous
ldconfig/debhelper overrides that we already have/had in the packaging.
I'd just ignore that.
Greets and thanks in advance!
